Begin your day with morning tea at the Social Foundry Café in Kyneton, where founder Paul Dettmann will share Cassinia’s inspiring goal of 30% of all land protected and managed in balance with nature by 2030.
Following this, your team will head to Sievers Lane, where the major activity— tree planting for ecosystem restoration—takes place. You’ll take a hands-on role in restoring habitats for endangered species like the Golden Sun Moth, contributing directly to ecosystem recovery. After a productive morning, enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch at the stunning Barfold Gorge, with views of the gorge’s unique lava formations.
The day concludes with an introduction to Cassinia’s Natural Agriculture initiative, where you’ll learn how sustainable grazing and biodiversity conservation can thrive together on managed land. This experience combines meaningful action with learning about regenerative agriculture and conservation.
